Fish
- 🐟 3 sardines, filleted
Vegetables
- 🥬 1 bok choy, chopped into 4cm pieces
- 🥕 1/2 carrot, thinly sliced
Seasoning
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil for sardines
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil for vegetables
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce

Chop bok choy into 4cm pieces, separating leaves and stems. Slice carrot thinly. Cut sardines into halves.
Mix sake and soy sauce in a bowl. Add sardines to marinate, then coat with cornstarch.
Combine sake, soy sauce, and oyster sauce in a bowl to create the sauce.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook sardines until golden brown on both sides, then remove from pan.
Add sesame oil to the pan and stir-fry bok choy stems and carrots over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp water, cover, and steam for 1-2 minutes.
Add bok choy leaves to the pan, stir-fry, then return sardines to the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir-fry until well combined.
