Base
- 🧇 4 waffles
Chicken
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🧂 1/2 tsp herb salt
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 🥛 50ml milk
- 🌾 30g all-purpose flour
- 30g potato starch
- Vegetable oil for frying

- 🍁 Maple syrup to taste
단계
Trim excess fat and sinew from the chicken thigh and cut into 4 equal pieces. Place in a bowl and massage with herb salt and grated garlic. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Add egg and milk, mix well, then coat with flour and potato starch.
Heat vegetable oil to 170°C in a pot, about 4cm deep. Fry the chicken pieces for 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove from oil.
Increase oil temperature to 180°C and fry the chicken pieces again for 2 minutes for extra crispiness. Remove and drain excess oil.
Plate the waffles and fried chicken, then drizzle with maple syrup to serve.
