INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
- 🌾 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
- 🌿 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 🥚 4 eggs
- 🍚 2 cups white sugar
- 1 ½ cups vegetable oil
- 🍏 2 cups applesauce
- 🌿 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
STEPS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Make a well in the center and pour in the eggs, sugar, oil, applesauce, and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour the batter into a prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
