- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🍠 2 sweet potatoes
- 5 perilla leaves
- 🧅 A small amount of green onion
Carbohydrates
- 1 serving of rice cakes
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 3 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧄 2.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp cooking wine
- A pinch of black pepper
- 🧂 A small amount of salt
- 💧 1 cup water
ÉTAPES
Soak rice cakes in water to soften them for quicker cooking later.
Prepare the chicken galbi sauce by mixing gochujang, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, cooking wine, black pepper, and salt.
Chop sweet potatoes, onion, cabbage, green onion, and perilla leaves. Set aside cabbage and perilla leaves for later use.
Dice chicken breast and marinate with the prepared sauce for 10 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water to a pan and bring to a boil.
Add marinated chicken to the boiling water and stir-fry until partially cooked.
Add sweet potatoes, onion, green onion, and rice cakes to the pan. Cook until sweet potatoes are tender.
Add cabbage and perilla leaves to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
