Main Ingredients
- 400g pork belly
- 🧅 Some shredded green onion
Seasoning
- 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 5 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp ginger wine
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1/2 tsp mustard
ШАГИ
Pan-fry the pork belly until golden brown and remove excess grease using a paper towel.
Prepare the braising sauce by mixing soy sauce, water, corn syrup, ginger wine, cooking wine, and mustard. Adjust soy sauce quantity based on desired saltiness.
After frying the pork belly, clean the pan of grease and add the braising sauce. Simmer the pork belly on low heat until fully coated and tender.
Cut the shredded green onion into bite-sized pieces and soak in cold water to remove its sharp taste.
Arrange the braised pork belly around the green onion on a plate for presentation.
