INGREDIENTS
Bread
- 🍞 1 (12 ounce) package Hawaiian sweet dinner rolls
Dairy
- 🧀 6 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded (about 1 ½ cups), divided
Protein
- 🍗 3 cups finely shredded cooked chicken breast, warmed
Sauces/Condiments
- 1/4 cup cayenne pepper hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot®)
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
Seasoning
- 🧂 1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix, divided
Others
- 🧈 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients.
Line a large-rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat with cooking spray. Cut rolls in half horizontally, keeping the halves intact. Place the bottom halves of rolls, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup of the shredded cheese evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
In a large bowl, combine the warmed chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing, and 3 tablespoons of the ranch dressing mix. Stir until evenly coated.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls and sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 cup cheese.
Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer. Brush the tops and sides of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of ranch dressing mix.
Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted, the tops of the rolls are golden brown, and the chicken mixture is heated through, about 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, cut the rolls into 12 sliders, and serve immediately.
