- 10 peeled chestnuts
- 120g chicken thigh
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 60g macaroni
Sauce
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥛 300ml milk
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Topping
- 🧀 2 slices melting cheese
- Chopped parsley, as needed
ÉTAPES
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Slice the onion thinly.
Boil water in a pot and cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain well.
Heat butter in a frying pan and sauté the chicken over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.
Add flour to the pan and mix until no lumps remain. Gradually add milk while stirring to create a thick sauce.
Combine the cooked macaroni, chestnuts, salt, and pepper into the sauce. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Transfer the mixture to a heatproof dish, top with cheese slices, and bake in a toaster oven until golden brown. Garnish with parsley.
