INGREDIENTES
Protein
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 1/2 lotus root
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 🌱 5 green beans
Cooking Oil
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp black vinegar
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
Thickening Agent
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
PASOS
Slice the lotus root into 5mm pieces and soak in water. Cut the yellow bell pepper into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the green beans into thirds. Slice the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and lightly coat with flour.
Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook until browned. Flip and cover with a lid, cooking on low heat for 5-7 minutes.
Remove chicken and stir-fry lotus root, yellow bell pepper, and green beans in the same pan over medium heat. Return chicken to the pan once vegetables are cooked.
Add the seasonings and stir to combine. Add the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. Serve hot.
