BAHAN-BAHAN
Main Ingredients
- 3 sheets gimbap seaweed
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice
- 🦑 1 squid
- 2 sheets fish cake
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Seasoning Mix
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cooking wine
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sugar or syrup
- A pinch of sesame seeds
LANGKAH
Blanch fish cake briefly in boiling water to remove excess oil, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Score the squid (optional), blanch in boiling water until cooked, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Prepare 1 bowl of cooked rice and let it cool slightly.
Cut gimbap seaweed sheets into suitable sizes or use full sheets for rolling.
Mix cooled rice with salt, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
Combine all seasoning mix ingredients in a large bowl.
Add blanched squid and fish cake to the seasoning mix and toss until evenly coated.
Spread seasoned rice evenly on the seaweed, roll tightly, and seal the edges with a bit of water.
Serve the gimbap with the seasoned squid and fish cake on the side.
