INGRÉDIENTS
Noodles
- 1 pack of frozen udon noodles
Meat
- 50g thinly sliced pork
Vegetables
- 100g chopped cabbage
- 30g thinly sliced carrot
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Soup Base
- 💧 300cc water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2/3 tsp chicken stock powder
Thickener
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces and thinly slice the carrot lengthwise into thirds.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork, season with salt and pepper, and cook until it changes color. Then add the cabbage and carrot. Stir-fry until the cabbage softens.
Add the soup base ingredients (water, sake, soy sauce, chicken stock) and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 4 minutes.
Microwave the frozen udon noodles according to the package instructions.
Add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) to the soup and stir until thickened.
Place the udon noodles in a serving bowl and pour the thickened soup over them.
