BAHAN-BAHAN
Fish
- 🐟 200g yellowtail fillets
Vegetables
- 200g lotus root
- 🥦 120g frozen broccoli
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
Cooking Oils
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 🧈 10g salted butter
Seasonings
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
LANGKAH
Slice the lotus root into thin rounds and soak in water to remove excess starch.
Season the yellowtail fillets with salt and pepper, then coat lightly with flour.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the yellowtail fillets until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add lotus root and cook until slightly tender.
Add frozen broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes.
Return the yellowtail fillets to the pan and add mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and butter. Stir to coat evenly.
Serve hot and enjoy your garlic butter sautéed yellowtail and lotus root.
