- 🐟 2 cans (380g) canned mackerel in water
Vegetables
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 40g shredded pizza cheese
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
Chili Sauce
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 a pinch of sugar
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
Garnish
- a dash of chili powder
- 🌿 a dash of chopped parsley
ÉTAPES
Cut the yellow bell pepper into bite-sized pieces and thinly slice the onion.
Heat olive oil, doubanjiang, grated garlic, and grated ginger in a pan over low heat. Once fragrant, add the onion and sauté until softened. Add the yellow bell pepper and stir-fry. Mix in sake, sugar, salt, and ketchup, then cook over medium heat.
Divide the mackerel and stir-fried mixture evenly into cocotte dishes. Top each with shredded pizza cheese. Bake in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
Sprinkle chili powder and chopped parsley as garnish before serving.
