Meat
- 🥩 150g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🥔 250g potatoes, cut into pieces
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 4 snow peas, trimmed
- 1 red chili, halved and deseeded
Oil and Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 200cc water
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger

Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in water to remove excess starch. Slice onion into 1cm strips. Trim snow peas and halve red chili, removing seeds.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and add sliced beef. Stir to coat evenly.
Heat sesame oil and red chili in a pot over low heat. Add marinated beef and stir-fry over medium heat until the beef changes color.
Add potatoes and onion to the pot and stir-fry until the onion softens.
Pour in water and bring to a boil. Skim off any foam, cover with a drop lid, and simmer over medium-low heat for 15 minutes.
Add snow peas and simmer briefly.
Serve in a dish and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
