    • 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 🧂 1 pinch salt
    • A dash of pepper
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp cooking sake
    • 1 tbsp tianmianjiang
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 200ml water
    • 2 tsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp water

Cut tofu into 2cm cubes. Boil water in a pot, add tofu, and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Drain the tofu.

Finely chop green onion and set aside 1/3 for fried rice preparation.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add ground pork, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Stir-fry until pork changes color. Add 2/3 of the green onion and doubanjiang, stir until fragrant. Add the ★ seasonings and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

Add drained tofu to the pan and simmer for 3 minutes. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened to create the Mapo sauce.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cooked rice, egg, reserved green onion, and ☆ seasonings. Mix gently. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Stir again to create egg fried rice.

Plate the egg fried rice and pour the Mapo sauce over it.
