INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 🥓 8 slices pork belly (220g)
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 potatoes (250g)
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 4 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp sake
Oil
- 2 tbsp salad oil
PASOS
Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain the water.
Place potatoes in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes.
Mash the hot potatoes with salt until smooth.
Add potato starch, mix well, divide into 4 portions, and shape into round balls.
Wrap each potato ball with pork belly slices and shape firmly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, place the wrapped potato balls, and cook over medium heat, turning to brown evenly. Add sake, cover, and steam on low heat for 2 minutes.
Uncover, evaporate excess liquid, add the seasoning mixture (soy sauce, sugar, sake), and simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
