Rice
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice (150g)
Sweet and Savory Pork
- 🐖 100g sliced pork
- 🌱 3 green beans, trimmed
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp cornstarch
Scrambled Egg
- 🥚 1 egg
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp mirin
Vegetable Garnish
- 🍅 2 cherry tomatoes
ÉTAPES
Trim the green beans and cut them into thirds.
In a microwave-safe container, mix pork and all ingredients except green beans. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes.
Add green beans to the container, cover loosely again, and microwave for 1 minute. Stir to thicken the sauce.
In another microwave-safe container, beat the egg with sake and mirin. Cover loosely and microwave at 600W for 40 seconds.
Microwave the egg again for another 40 seconds until crumbly. Let cool.
Remove the stems from cherry tomatoes.
Pack cooked rice into a bento box, top with pork, scrambled egg, and cherry tomatoes.
