INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Vegetables
- 🎃 150g pumpkin, peeled and diced
- 🧅 50g minced onion
Seasoning
- 1/3 tsp consomme powder
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🧈 10g salted butter
PASOS
Remove seeds and peel from the pumpkin, then dice into bite-sized pieces. Mince the onion.
Place pumpkin and onion in a microwave-safe container, add 1 tbsp water, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 4–5 minutes until soft. Drain and mash the pumpkin with a fork while mixing in consomme powder. Let cool completely.
In a bowl, mix ground pork with salt and pepper until sticky. Add the cooled pumpkin mixture and mix until well combined. Divide into two portions and shape into oval patties.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place patties in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Flip, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 6 minutes until fully cooked. Transfer to a serving plate.
In the same pan, add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Pour the sauce over the hamburger steaks and serve.
