    • 1 can (190g) saba miso stew
  • Tofu

    • 1 piece (160g) atsuage
  • Vegetables

    • 2 slices ginger
    • 1/3 stalk negi, sliced diagonally
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
    • Pinch of shichimi togarashi
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tsp soy sauce
    • 100ml water

Pat dry excess oil from atsuage with paper towel and cut into bite-sized pieces. Slice negi diagonally into 1cm pieces.

Add atsuage, negi, ginger, and saba can (including the liquid) to a pot. Add the seasonings (sake, mirin, soy sauce, water) and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, cover and simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.

Turn off the heat and mix in white sesame seeds. Serve on a plate and sprinkle with shichimi togarashi.
