INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 1 fillet salted mackerel (170g)
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g)
- 1/3 red bell pepper (50g)
- 🥬 1/2 celery stalk with leaves
Staples
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
☆ Nanban Vinegar Sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 2 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 100 ml water
- 1/2 tsp sliced chili
- 🌾 1 tsp sesame oil
PASOS
Thinly slice the onion, red bell pepper, and celery. Set aside.
Pat the mackerel dry and coat it evenly with potato starch.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the mackerel until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine all ☆ Nanban Vinegar Sauce ingredients and bring to a gentle boil. Stir until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.
In a large bowl, combine the fried mackerel, sliced vegetables, and the Nanban Vinegar Sauce. Mix gently to coat everything evenly.
Serve the dish at room temperature or chilled.
