- 🐟 2 fillets salted mackerel (240g)
Coating
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger

Cut the mackerel into bite-sized pieces. Place the mackerel and seasoning ingredients (sake, vinegar, soy sauce, grated ginger) into a plastic bag and massage gently. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Add potato starch to the marinated mackerel in the bag and shake to coat evenly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the mackerel skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until fully cooked.
