INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets mackerel
Vegetables
- 1 head bok choy
- 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Separate bok choy leaves from stems, cut leaves into 3 cm pieces and stems into 6–8 sections.
Trim the base of shimeji mushrooms and separate into small clusters.
Cut each mackerel fillet into two pieces.
Heat 1/2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, place mackerel skin-side down, cook until browned, flip and cook the other side. Remove from pan.
Wipe the pan clean, add 1/2 tbsp sesame oil, sauté bok choy stems and shimeji mushrooms.
Add 1 tbsp water, cover the pan, and steam for 1 minute.
Add bok choy leaves, stir-fry, then mix in sake, sugar, oyster sauce, and soy sauce.
Return mackerel to the pan, stir-fry until evenly coated and heated through.
