INGRÉDIENTS
Dumpling Wrappers
- 24 dumpling wrappers
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil (for frying)
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil (for finishing)
Dipping Sauce
- Ponzu sauce, to taste
Dumpling Filling
- 100g ground pork
- 1 can (70g) scallop in water
- 🧅 1/2 stalk minced green onion
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 🧂 Salt and pepper, to taste
ÉTAPES
Mince the green onion.
In a bowl, mix all dumpling filling ingredients until sticky and well combined.
Place a small amount of filling onto each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and seal tightly. Repeat for all wrappers.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Arrange dumplings and fry for 1 minute.
Add 50cc of water, cover the pan, and steam on low heat for 5 minutes.
Remove the lid, add sesame oil, and fry on medium heat for 1 minute until crispy. Serve with ponzu sauce.
