INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 4 taro roots, peeled
- 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Liquids
- 💧 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms and separate them.
Peel the taro roots and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Rub with salt to remove stickiness, rinse with water, and drain.
Place the taro and water in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and stir-fry the shimeji mushrooms until softened.
Add the taro to the pan and stir-fry briefly.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) and stir-fry until the liquid is absorbed. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
