Wrapper
- 20 dumpling wrappers
Meat
- 150g minced pork
Vegetables
- 150g cabbage, roughly chopped
- 10 shiso leaves, halved
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp grated ginger
Dipping Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Dash of chili oil
Batter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 💧 150ml water
ÉTAPES
Chop the cabbage into rough pieces and halve the shiso leaves.
Mix minced pork, cabbage, and seasonings (sake, soy sauce, salt, pepper, ginger) in a bowl until sticky.
Place a shiso leaf and filling onto each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold into dumplings.
Heat half the salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Arrange dumplings and cook until browned. Add flour-water mixture and cover to steam for 6 minutes.
Remove the lid and evaporate excess water. Add remaining oil and fry until crispy.
Mix vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil in a bowl to prepare the dipping sauce.
Serve dumplings on a plate with dipping sauce on the side.
