INGRÉDIENTS
Wrapper
- 12 shumai wrappers
Vegetable
- 1 head bok choy
- 1/4 cup water
- vinegar as needed
- pinch of ground black pepper
Filling
- 150g firm tofu
- 100g ground pork
- 🍤 80g peeled shrimp
- 🧅 1/8 onion
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- pinch of pepper
- 2 tsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Drain the tofu and crumble it into a mixing bowl.
Finely chop the shrimp and onion, then add them to the bowl with tofu.
Add ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, sugar, pepper, and potato starch to the bowl. Mix thoroughly.
Wrap the filling in shumai wrappers and shape them into small dumplings.
Steam the shumai for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
Serve the shumai with bok choy, water, vinegar, and black pepper as garnish or dipping sauce.
