INGREDIENTI
Seafood
- 🐙 100g boiled octopus
Vegetables
- 4 taro (300g), peeled and cut
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
PASSI
Peel the taro and cut into bite-sized pieces. Rub with 1 tsp salt (not listed in ingredients) in a bowl, rinse, and drain.
Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces.
Place the octopus, taro, and ☆ ingredients (sake, mirin, dashi powder, water) into a pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cover, and simmer on low-medium heat for 7–8 minutes.
Add soy sauce and mix. Cover and simmer for another 3 minutes.
Uncover the pot, increase to high heat, and stir while reducing the sauce slightly. Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
