- 🍗 1kg chicken for braising
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 🧂 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp black bean powder
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 pinches black pepper
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 💧 4 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Mix all seasoning ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Rinse the chicken in cold water to remove impurities and trim excess fat.
Score thick parts of the chicken (optional) to help the marinade penetrate.
Heat a large frying pan with 4 tbsp vegetable oil over medium heat.
Place the chicken evenly in the pan, cover with a lid, and cook for 5 minutes.
Flip the chicken, cover again, and cook for another 5 minutes. Repeat this process 4 times for a total of 20 minutes.
Remove the chicken from the pan and discard excess oil.
Pour the prepared seasoning sauce over the chicken and cook over high heat, stirring frequently.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
