INGREDIENTES
Seafood
- 🦑 2 cleaned squid (160g)
Vegetables
- 🥬 200g shredded cabbage
Staples
- 120g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150cc water
Eggs
- 🥚 1 egg
Oils
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Toppings
- Okonomiyaki sauce to taste

PASOS
Pat dry the squid with paper towels. Open the body and cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the tentacles into pairs and halve their length.
Remove the core of the cabbage and shred it finely.
In a bowl, mix flour, dashi powder, and water. Add the egg and mix further. Fold in the squid and cabbage, incorporating air into the batter.
Heat half the salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour half the batter into the pan and spread it into a round shape. Cook for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the pancake, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 6 minutes until fully cooked. Repeat for the second pancake.
Serve on a plate and garnish with okonomiyaki sauce, bonito flakes, and aonori as desired.
