Fish
- 🐟 200g white fish sashimi (e.g., sea bream)
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- sufficient amount of sake
Other
- 3 sheets of kombu (6×20cm each)
- 🌱 wasabi as needed
ÉTAPES
Wipe the surface of the kombu with a kitchen paper soaked in sake.
Place one sheet of kombu at the bottom of a flat container. Arrange the sashimi pieces without overlapping and sprinkle half of the salt. Place another sheet of kombu on top, layer more sashimi, sprinkle the remaining salt, and cover with the last sheet of kombu.
Cover with plastic wrap, apply light pressure, and refrigerate for 1–2 hours to let the flavors meld.
Serve on a plate and garnish with wasabi.
