Wrapper
- 10 dumpling wrappers
Vegetables
- 10 okra pods
- 4 chives, minced
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Meat Filling
- 150g ground pork
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Dipping Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Chili oil to taste

Trim the okra by removing the stem and calyx. Sprinkle with salt, roll on a cutting board, and rinse. Mince the chives.
In a bowl, mix the pork filling ingredients until sticky. Add minced chives and mix well.
Take a portion of the meat filling, spread it on your palm, place an okra pod on top, and wrap it with the dumpling wrapper. Repeat for all 10 dumplings.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the dumplings seam-side up and cook until golden brown.
Add 3 tbsp of water to the pan, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for 6–7 minutes.
Drizzle sesame oil into the pan and cook until the dumplings are crispy and golden brown.
Serve the dumplings on a plate with the dipping sauce made by mixing vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil.
