Dry Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 🧂 ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients

- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Place grated zucchini in a colander and set aside to drain.
Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl until well blended.
Beat eggs, applesauce, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl until smooth.
Fold in the whisked flour mixture, then stir in the drained zucchini.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting and serving.
