    • 130g all-purpose flour
    • 40g almond flour
    • 1/4 tsp baking powder
    • 40g dried cranberries
    • A dash of rum
    • 20g whole almonds
    • 30g pecans
    • Sugar for rolling dough

In a bowl, soften room-temperature butter and mix with sugar until smooth. Add half of the sifted dry ingredients and mix gently with a spatula.

Add milk and mix, then incorporate the remaining dry ingredients using a spatula.

Once the dry ingredients are almost fully incorporated, add drained cranberries and nuts, and mix lightly to form the dough.

Shape the dough into a rectangular block about 3–3.5cm thick. Wrap and chill in the freezer for 1 hour.

Remove the dough and divide it into three long strips. Roll each strip in sugar to coat the surface evenly.

Slice the dough into 1cm thick pieces and place them on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
