ИНГРЕДИЕНТЫ
Main
- 2 pieces hanpen (200g)
- 🧀 2 slices cheese
- 4 shiso leaves
- 1 tbsp ume paste
- Breadcrumbs as needed
- Salad oil as needed
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
ШАГИ
Cut the cheese slices diagonally into quarters.
Cut the hanpen diagonally in half and make a pocket-like incision.
Spread 1/4 of the ume paste inside the hanpen, then stuff with 1/2 slice of cheese and 1 shiso leaf. Repeat to make 4 stuffed hanpen pieces.
Mix the batter ingredients (egg, water, flour) in a bowl and transfer to a tray. Coat the stuffed hanpen in the batter and then in breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil in a pan to 180°C (about 2cm deep) and fry the coated hanpen until golden brown on both sides.
