    • 1 tbsp sake

    • 1 tbsp potato starch
  • Miso Sauce

    • 2 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 1 tbsp miso
    • 1 tsp grated ginger

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the horse mackerel skin-side down and cook until golden on both sides. Push the fish to one side and add shishito peppers, rolling them until evenly browned. Season the peppers with salt and pepper, then remove them from the pan.

Add the miso sauce to the pan and simmer until the fish is well-coated.

Plate the fish and sprinkle with white sesame seeds. Serve with the shishito peppers on the side.
