Fish
- 🐟 4 whole dried iwashi fish (80g)
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 1 tbsp water
Coating
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs, as needed
Cooking Oil
- Salad oil, as needed
ШАГИ
Crack the egg into a tray and mix it. Add the flour and water to create the batter.
Dip the whole dried iwashi fish into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, then cover with breadcrumbs.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (about 1cm deep). Fry the fish for about 4 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
