Beef Ssamjang Ingredients
- 🍖 2 cups ground beef
- 🧅 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 stalks green onion, chopped
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 4 tbsp soybean paste
- 2 tbsp red pepper paste
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- 2 spicy chilies, chopped
Wrap Ingredients
- Fresh kale leaves
- Fresh perilla leaves
- 🍚 Cooked rice
ШАГИ
Finely chop ground beef, onions, and green onions. Optionally, chop spicy chilies for added heat.
Heat a wok on high heat, add beef, and stir-fry until partially cooked. Reduce to medium heat and continue cooking.
Add soybean paste, red pepper paste, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, sesame oil, vegetable oil, and sesame seeds. Stir-fry until thickened.
Cool the beef ssamjang and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Boil water with 1 tbsp salt. Blanch kale leaves until stems are tender. Remove and blanch perilla leaves briefly in the same water.
Place a scoop of warm rice and a dollop of beef ssamjang on each leaf. Wrap tightly into small bundles.
Arrange the rice wraps in a serving dish or mold for aesthetic presentation.
Serve immediately or refrigerate the beef ssamjang for future use. Enjoy a healthy and refreshing summer meal!
