Main Ingredients
- 🥔 800g medium potatoes, peeled and cut
- 20 shishito peppers, trimmed and halved
Seasoning
- 💧 2 cups water
- 🧂 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
ШАГИ
Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces, rinse them in water to remove excess starch. Wash the shishito peppers, remove the stems, and cut them in half.
In a pot, combine the potatoes with water, soy sauce, sugar, and cooking oil. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once the liquid reduces by half, add the shishito peppers. Cover the pot and let it simmer briefly without stirring.
Turn off the heat and let the dish sit for a few minutes to finish cooking with residual heat. Serve warm.
