    • 1 can (190g) miso-flavored saba
  • Cheese / Dairy

    • 🧀 40g shredded pizza cheese
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 1 stalk (165g) green onion
  • Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • Garnish

    • Pinch of shichimi chili powder

Slice the green onion diagonally into 1cm pieces.

Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the green onion until tender. Add the saba can with its juices, breaking it apart while cooking. Add sake, mirin, and soy sauce, then stir quickly. Sprinkle pizza cheese on top, cover the pan, and steam on low heat until the cheese melts.

Serve the cooked mixture over bowls of rice. Optionally, sprinkle shichimi chili powder for added flavor.
