Trim the eggplant stems, peel the skin in stripes with a peeler, and cut them in half lengthwise. Slice into 1cm thick half-moons. Trim the asparagus ends, peel the lower half with a peeler, and cut diagonally into 3cm pieces. Thinly slice the garlic and remove the core with a toothpick.

Heat butter and garlic in a frying pan over low heat until fragrant. Increase to medium heat, spread the eggplant in the pan, and cook until browned. Add bacon and asparagus, stir-fry for about 2 minutes, then add soy sauce and mix well.
