- 🐟 1 pack cleaned mackerel
Coating
- 2 coats of cornstarch
- 1 tbsp ginger wine
Sauce
- 💧 3 tbsp water
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar

Wash the mackerel and remove the bones. Ensure large bones are removed for easier consumption.
Cut the mackerel into bite-sized pieces and marinate with ginger wine and pepper to remove any fishy smell.
Coat the mackerel pieces with cornstarch twice to ensure a firm texture and prevent oil splattering during frying.
