    • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 💧 1 tbsp water
  • Oil Breadcrumbs

    • 🍞 6 tbsp breadcrumbs
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 🧀 1.5 tbsp grated cheese

Pat dry the horse mackerel fillets and season with salt and pepper.

Mix the batter ingredients (egg, flour, water) in one tray and the oil breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs, olive oil, cheese) in another tray. Coat the fish first in the batter mixture and then in the oil breadcrumbs.

Line the toaster tray with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with salad oil. Place the fish skin-side down, cover loosely with aluminum foil, and bake for 5 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 7–10 minutes until crispy and golden.
