    • 💧 600cc water
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • 2 tsp gochujang
    • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Finishing Touch

    • 1 tsp sesame oil

Cut the beef into bite-sized pieces. Remove the stems of the shiitake mushrooms and slice both the stems and caps thinly.

Slice the carrot thinly after halving it. Cut the green onion diagonally into 3cm pieces. Beat the egg in a bowl.

Heat 2 tsp sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add beef, grated garlic, and grated ginger, and stir-fry until the beef changes color.

Add carrot, shiitake mushrooms, and green onion. Stir until coated with oil. Add the soup base ingredients and mix well. Cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.

Pour the beaten egg into the soup and let it float to the surface. Add 1 tsp sesame oil and gently stir. Serve the soup over warm rice in bowls.
