MALZEMELER
Main Ingredients
- 🐟 200g cod fillets
- 🍶 200g firm tofu
- 🧅 Sliced green onion, as needed
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- Vegetable oil, as needed
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 150ml water
Thickening Mixture
- 1/2 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1 tbsp water

Cut the tofu into quarters, wrap in kitchen paper, and drain for at least 15 minutes. Coat with 1 tbsp potato starch. Slice green onions thinly.
Cut the cod into thirds, season with salt and pepper, and coat with 1 tbsp potato starch.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to about 1cm depth over medium heat. Fry the tofu until golden brown and remove. Fry the cod until golden brown and remove.
In a pot, combine the sauce ingredients and heat over medium heat until boiling. Add the thickening mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
Plate the cod and tofu, pour the thickened sauce over them, and garnish with sliced green onions.
