Main Ingredients
- 1 piece (120g) atsuage
- 8 shishito peppers
- 🧀 20g pizza cheese
- 🧂 A pinch of black pepper
Scallion Miso Sauce
- 🧅 1/3 stalk scallion, minced
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp miso
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
ADIMLAR
Wrap the atsuage in a paper towel to remove excess oil, then cut it into 9 equal pieces.
Trim the stems off the shishito peppers and cut them diagonally in half. Mince the scallion.
In a bowl, mix all the scallion miso sauce ingredients (scallion, sugar, miso, garlic, and mayonnaise).
In a separate bowl, combine the atsuage and shishito peppers with the scallion miso sauce and mix well.
Place the mixture into a heatproof dish, sprinkle pizza cheese on top, and bake in a toaster oven for about 8 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle black pepper before serving.
