- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sesame oil

Cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Place the cabbage and salt in a bowl, massage gently, and let sit for 5 minutes. Squeeze out excess water.
Place the chicken breasts in a microwave-safe container, poke several holes with a fork, and sprinkle with sake. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1.5–2 minutes. Let cool and shred into bite-sized pieces.
Combine the cabbage, shredded chicken, sesame oil, and salted kombu in a bowl. Mix well.
