- 🐟 100g fresh sardines (sashimi-grade)

- 🧅 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 🍅 4 cherry tomatoes, halved
Marinade
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🍬 a pinch of sugar
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil

Thinly slice the onion into 5mm strips. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 2 minutes. Halve the cherry tomatoes horizontally.
In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients (☆). Add the sardines, onion, and cherry tomatoes. Mix well, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
