Add canned clams and clam seasoning ingredients to a pot. Heat over medium until boiling, then reduce to low and simmer until the liquid is almost gone, stirring occasionally.

In a bowl, beat the egg with salt and sugar. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Stir, cover again, and microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir to make scrambled eggs.

Rinse komatsuna under water and wrap in plastic. Microwave at 600W for 2 minutes, then cool in water and squeeze out excess moisture. Chop roughly.

In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, seasoned clams, scrambled eggs, and chopped komatsuna. Mix well.
