- 1 can (190g) canned mackerel in water
Vegetables
- 🥒 1 cucumber
- 1/2 piece ginger, julienned
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce

Slice the cucumber thinly, sprinkle with 1/3 tsp salt, let sit for 5 minutes until softened, rinse with water, and squeeze out excess moisture. Julienne the ginger.
Break the canned mackerel into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix the seasonings (sugar, vinegar, soy sauce) with 2 tbsp of the mackerel can liquid.
Arrange the cucumber and mackerel on a plate, pour the dressing over, and top with julienned ginger.
