Scrub the clam shells to clean them.

Cut the nanohana in half. Boil water in a pot, blanch the nanohana until its color changes, then drain.

In a frying pan, add clams, sake, butter, and water. Cover and heat over medium heat for about 3 minutes until the clam shells open.

Add nanohana, fresh cream, salt, and pepper to the pan. Mix and warm through.
