Cut the yellow paprika into bite-sized pieces. Slice the garlic in half lengthwise, remove the core, and crush it with the flat side of a knife.
Remove the vein from the peeled shrimp, rinse with water, and pat dry.
In a pot, heat olive oil, garlic, salt, and chili over low heat until fragrant. Add the shrimp and paprika, then cook over medium heat until the shrimp changes color.
